My Story
As an NHS GP, I bring a unique blend of medical expertise and a deep understanding of the importance of mental and emotional wellbeing. By equipping children with the right tools and knowledge, we can empower them to navigate life's challenges and build a strong foundation for the future.
My journey into this field is deeply personal. As a child, I experienced my own struggles with mental health but unfortunately didn't have the tools to navigate those challenges. This led me to later explore holistic approaches towards mental and physical wellbeing.
Embarking on multiple journeys to India I learnt yoga, pranayama (powerful breathing techniques) and meditation. Upon incorporating them into my daily routine, I witnessed their transformative power on both my mind and body. Experiencing the profound impact of these practices on my mental health and overall wellbeing, I wished I had discovered them earlier in life. Consequently it has now become my passion to share and impart these practices with children. To deepen my knowledge I completed several mindfulness courses and programmes tailored for children.

My interest in holistic wellbeing has also led me to acquire a diploma in Lifestyle Medicine which focuses on healthy eating, physical activity, sleep and managing stress as pillars for improving health and wellbeing. I am additionally undertaking a course in Ayurvedic nutrition, an ancient Indian healing system which explores the medicinal benefits of food and nutrition.
I am truly passionate about nurturing and empowering children with mindfulness and meditation techniques; providing a tool kit to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, empathy and self awareness. I actively collaborate with schools, parents, and other healthcare professionals to deliver workshops to support children in their holistic development. I welcome you to join me on this journey to cultivate a strong foundation of wellbeing, resilience and happiness for children.
“Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind and spirit – the realisation that everything we do, think, feel and believe has an effect on our state of well-being.”
